I was born and spent my childhood in Fort Walton Beach/Destin, Florida before moving to Arkansas as an Air Force kid. Disney and the beach have always been some of my very favorite vacation destinations. I am married to Steve and we have two girls. When we got married and started a family my husband and I knew that we wanted our girls to be well rounded travelers! We have been across the pond to London, Liverpool (husband loves everything about The Beatles), and a couple of other villages in the London area. We have seen lots of national parks and national monuments. We've traveled to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, Wind Cave, Grand Canyon, Gateway Arch, The Great Smoky Mountains, Indiana Dunes, The Great Sand Dunes… I could keep going! In 2023, we visited Springfield, Missouri where we were awarded the National Flag at the Abraham Lincoln burial site. It is a random pick every Tuesday evening when they do their gun salute and lowering of the flag. We’ve also visited Colorado, Arizona, Washington D.C, Chicago, Reno, Las Vegas, and also spent some time in Kentucky, as well as many other states in the U.S. My husband was a History minor in college. So, his love of history has taken us on quite a few vacations! Travel is a huge part of our family. I would love to share some travel stories and help plan adventures for your family as well!
